Road Rage

Same thing happened to me except I was in my F350 4X4 and I got the hand jester. We were on a 8 lane Hwy [ 805 north bound in So. Cal. ] and the only vehicle for two miles , Joe Biker Tough guy comes out of no where and procedes to tell me I am #1.

Then he cuts in front of me and works his magic . That's when I found out the rev limiter on my truck was at 105 mph .

All biker Bob could see in his mirror was a Blue oval.

Lets just say he left the Hwy at the next off ramp [ on two wheels and I never seen him again.

I think he pulled into a Texaco and wiped his butt.

What makes a Low Life think they can take on a 7000lb truck ?

I'm going on an organized benefit ride on Sat to raise money for burn victims. There will be a police escort and should be over 500 bikes.

Don't mind riding in a large crowd, it feels a little safer knowing that the other motorist know we are there.

Last year we had cars cutting forcefully into the motorcycle line. They didn't even have to be told they were #1.

There are dumb asses in every walk of life as we all know.

This story reminds me of about half the action/adventure B movies I've ever seen. You know the scene - bad guy bikers are chasing good guy in a car. They pull up next to the car waving guns, etc. Bullets fly, long chase ensues. All it would take is a quick lane change and the chase is over but, of course, that doesn't make for good movie footage.

Unlike the movies, this chase was over before it started. Darwin is proven correct once again. :605_thumbs_up:

The last ride for charity I rode in was the Gamblers 300 tour out in So.Cal. and we rode 600 miles that day [ I got the youngest rider to sign in and finish , Yamaha XS750E full dress ] and that's the Bike I died on March 17th 1980. A guy turned left into me with no signal or warning . I have had 5 bikes sense then .

I did not like riding in groups of 10 or more bikes , we would spread out a mile or so to give autos and trucks the ability to move around [ change lanes and exit or inter the Hwy. ] We also always ride staggered formation in case one has a problem he doesn't take the guy next to him down .

Riding a Bike is TOTAL DEFENSIVE driving .

Good luck on your Ride 240 and be safe.

Thanks Welder!

Here is a thread from the "Chesapeake Region" board with some info of the ride. Last year around $20, was raised and this year the check presented was $52,000. I hope it helps a lot of people.
