GARMIN 4210: GXM 51 or GDL 30A?

I would like to get XM audio and weather on my Garmin 4210/Aquatics DVD3 system (being installed tomorrow). Just figured out that my 4210 needs the GDL30A which comes with a separate antenna or a GXM 51 to receive XM. Are there any advantages/dis-advantages to each? Does anyone know where to find one of the options much cheaper than list?

The advantage of the GSM 51 antenna is that it is a smart antenna .... i.e. everything is containied in the antenna to receive weather and music. It will save you space inside your console. The GDL30A has to be installed inside your console whereas the GXM 51 is installed on your T-Top roof.

Two seperate animals .... the GXM 51 antenna only services XM Weather and Music ... it does not receive positional information of the GPS satellites. Your 4210 came with a GPS 17 series antenna and that's the one you use for positional info. You'll have two antennas. The beauty of the GMX 51 antenna is everything is contained in the antenna so there is no black box below decks.
