Saw this rig in the Chesapeake area. Hope the owner doesn't mind me posting these pics.

To you speed guys this may be run of the mill but to me, I thought it was pretty cool looking.

I liked the Stealth fighter on the sides.

It looked fast sitting on the lift anyway.

Yup, along with Merc #6 dry sump drives. $$$$$$$ With those drives and props I am willing to bet there are a pair of Merc 1075 HP blower motors in that rig. Probably runs in the 120 MPH range.

No idea what the GPH would be but I bet you could watch the fuel gauge go down at WOT.

If you can afford the boat the fuel cost doesn't matter.

I remember looking at them at last years boat show and the "Show Special" on that package with the outdrive was $125K each. The retail price is around $150K with the drive and transom assembly.

Here is a nice article from Powerboat Magazine. They tested a 46' Outerlimits with twin 1075 mercs and dry sump drives and 5 blade choppers, the same package that might be in that boat in your pic.

I think you mean 82.5 GPH which is actually pretty darn good considering you're doing 124 MPH.

here's my Merc 700 with # 6 drives.. If I stay at 3500 rpms which is 60 mph my Smart Craft registers 1.47 mpg..and thats for a 13.5k boat
