SH & ICOM Command Mic Comparsion ......

Here's a side by side comparison in regards to display quality, size, and button access. Both mics are great additions and work flawlessly. The only difference is the ICOM had NMEA position input and the SH didn't. The SH position data scrolls across the top of the display).

The SH mic is connected to a Phantom 1000 and the ICOM mic to 504 rear mic model. If you have limited space at helm this a good way to maximize it is to install the VHF under your helm with a command mic at the helm.
