  1. Thanks for sharing the pic's! Man Oh Man those Pro Lines look sweet and the prices seem purty good too! I hope Pro Line pulls thru these hard times as I am a Pro Line owner and really enjoy my 26walk. Almost tempted to go talk a deal but Admiral wants to trade her car in, Oh Well such is life.
  2. I agree with 250 Osprey & Welder....Bleed em good!
  3. Funny you mentioned that I'm having same problem with my portable Sirius unit that has self contained antenna. I was gonna go back to XM but the two are merging but seems XM always had strong signal when I had it previous.
  4. X's 3 with Mrpat & Jaydub I'm still shopping for Insurance because of State Farm leaving Florida!
  5. Try this or check temp sensors. Water Pressure Check Water pressure may be checked by one of three methods; • Use a Digital Diagnostic Terminal (DDT) [91-823686A2] • On engines equipped with Omega gauges, water pressure is an available readout. • On engines not equipped with Omega gauges, a water pressure line is provided that exits at the front of the lower cowl. A dash style gauge may be connected to this line to register water pressure. WARNING Shut off engine and refer to troubleshooting chart if water pressure is not within specification. DO NOT exceed 3000 RPM in neutral. Idle 1.0 – 3.0 PSI (6.8 – 20.5 kPa) Poppet Valve Opening 4 – 9 PSI (27.4 – 61.6 kPa) W.O.T. 12.0 PSI (82.1 kPa) Minimum Cooling Water Strainer The cooling water strainer filters cooling water flowing to the port fuel rail and air compressor. 1. Remove bottom cowl. Disconnect water hose from the strainer plug. 2. Remove and clean strainer. 3. Apply Loctite Pipe Sealant w/Teflon (92-88504) to strainer threads and reinstall strainer. Reconnect water hose and secure with sta-strap. a 57543 a - Water Strainer
  6. probly would not hurt to change out popit valve, the part is not expensive, as I've been told they could cause heating problems if not functiong properly. Have you had the new thermostats installed sound like you have if they are 140F.
  7. I used my roto-zip and it worked great just take your time untill you get the feel for it. You will be amazed at how well this tool works around the boat for cut outs! Wear a dust mask cough-cough, fiberglass is an sob on bare skin and in your nose!
  8. OH MAN you are talented! Thanks for sharing your fishing trip down yonder in da key's!
  9. Why don't ya try and get a manual via google search that will explain how to make adjustments to the unit also a exploded view of the external and interal componets if your a visual learner, I found a manual for my old Mercury commander throttle/shifter and it was a $$$ saving deal for me. Good Luck!
  10. Got mine installed after a small hicup. I have a Mercury Optimax but a Teleflex/Morse throtle-shifter which takes a OMC-2 type kill switch clip instead of a Mercury type kill switch. Autotether sent me a pack of various kill switch pieces along with the small tool to remove the Mercury fit. Instalation was a breeze, works as described! An added piece of mind when out solo trolling. Cuzwecud

  12. IMHO-Consider Liability issue even though you are trying to help. Now if it was an issue of life and death of course I would extend myself, but I have been on the bitter end of a law suit trying to help out before.

  15. I would be careful about getting a day laborer..cause he mightbe back to take some of your stuff when you off to work or fishing..been there-done that and you will wished you had done the work your self. Of course if $$$$ is no object hire a pro with refrences.
