  5. i think the 750 sound about right since someone will need the cowling repaired /replace and a new prop.just guessing the the cosmetics are scuffed up from the fall aswell. good luck

  7. good luck ! i have had twn 200 HO e-tec AND THEY HAVE BEEN GREAT.the only time they have been in the shop has been for their 300 hr service. I have over 1500 hrs on them now.
  8. yea that is a popular thread. that guy needs some serious help in the PR department.He is the type guy that has a pinhole leak in his boat and fixes it by drilling a 6 inch hole.
  9. a used 150 yamaha 2 stroke (unless you find a real generous 4 stroke owner) or 150 carbed Evinrude/Johnson 2 stroke .You may find a 2002or newer Evinrude DI/Ficht (made by BRP)that are very good engines.Most of the 150 4 strokes will be to new or out of you budget.good luck
  10. I think you have to test ride each to see which suits you the best.I have always liked the looks of the Contender but have never been impressed with their management when it come to consumer relations.Good luck on your choice !

  14. It is a nice boat, thanks for the kind words. I have fished it several times out to Bethel Shoals, thats about 30 miles east of Sebastian Inlet. Of course I used good judgement and kept a good eye on the weather. Of course she is great on fuel so it's easy to afford the trip. nice boat
