The release system will disengage the chain from the pivot point allowing the anchor to be pulled out of the obstruction from the rear. This provides for a safe and efficient anchor by releasing as needed and reducing the chance for damaging reefs. For the overnighter, the release mechanism can be place into a mooring position which will convert the anchor to a traditional fixed anchor for the evening. Prior to our release anchor, a hung anchor would result in the loss of your time and money. No longer will you have to replace the lost rope, chain, and anchor.
