  7. Sal, I reckon you didn't want to see the bigger MA go. But, you can take the cash difference and go long on oil. Or something like that. Big Al

  11. You forgot to mention your bisexuality and penchant for Barbara Streisand music. Big Al
  12. One consideration for how much water to use would be the impact of sloshing on the mortality of your baits. Less water means greater chance of getting slammed into the side and bottom of the well when the boat is moving around. This is perhaps not so critical in nearshore applications, but for long offshore runs it is. Big Al
  13. Al here. Fish any time (which is seldom these days) Fish anywhere For any type of fish. Live in Gulfport, MS. Grew up from age 10 in Biloxi, MS. Fished every square millimeter of it. Several small skiffs owned, no offshore boat Katrina took it Still have my acres of tackle, though. Fish out of Venice, when I can, with Redwiser, BOOMER & co. Tuna mostly. Les - you know I can't be photographed.........."they" do not allow that Big Al
  14. Woke up this morning at 2:00, because getting a full night's sleep is against some rule that my body thinks must exist somewhere. Anyhow, flicked on the idjit box and the Exterminator show with the whacked out family in Louisiana was on. The guy, Billy, was trying to wrangle a 5 foot rattlesnake from under a couch in a tattoo parlor He finally was able to grab it with a snake tool and pick it up. The head on that thing was HUGE!!! It slithered into the shop after the owner had blocked the door open that morning. Makes ya wonder how many of that rattler's buddies might be skulking around in Bossier City. Big Al
  15. Output display via the 15 pin to KVM switch, then into your 12" color daylight readable Northstar display. Big Al
  16. Spooky I reckon there would not have been a whole lot of help available out there, had something serious happened. I like the name 'Special Blend'. Big Al
  17. Wife tells me if I wrote about only 5% of the stupid stuff I've done, it would be a best seller, if I could keep it under 20000000 pages........ Hmmmm, maybe an "Idiots Guide to Stupidity". Big Al
  18. Thanks, I appreciate the compliment. As I was writing it I was reliving that morning and realized how stupid it was. There but for the grace of God go I...... Big Al
  19. Why? Because they can. Such projects help to drive the process of hull design, including power-to-weight considerations, materials, handling, and on and on. I recall the days when twin outboards were considered superfluous nonsense and merely reflections of short penises. Nowadays triples are readily accepted as "necessary". I think its ugly as hell, and it might well be "unsafe"; but as Ralph said "I'd hit it", and hard. Wouldn't buy one, though. Wouldn't buy a Space Shuttle either, but again, "I'd damn sure hit it". Horsepower speaks directly to the soul in a uniquely singular way. More is not always better, but it is always desired. Big Al light it up
  20. So you now have 50k in boat funds. Damn good deal!!! Big Al
