    Had dish network for years and years until the YES network came online years back and dish couldn't make a deal with the Steinbrenners for the Yankees network, so I had to switch to DTV. Dish had better signal through the rain, hardly ever went out, DTV is always out, it the hot weather girl predicts rain, my DTV goes out! Sunday Ticket on DTV if your so inclined, theres lots of reasons to go with DTV but if sports isn't one of your priorities, I'd look at Dish. I liked the system better. Both companies have customer service that's equivelant to talking to a big bucket of rusty nails.

    I use IE 7 but never get errors. I guess my real point is that I'm on 6 or 7 boards not all boating related, and this one is the slowest by a long shot. Wasnt sure if anyone else had the problem. I guess not. Thanks for the replies. Mike

    First off, I registered the day they opened (or close to it), and I am not flaming this site whatsoever, more of a technical issue I'm having. This site loads SOOOO SLOOOOW on my computer, that I open the home page and sometimes it takes just long enough for me to close the window and go elsewhere. I'm not sure what the deal is, I live in the sticks, so high speed is out, I have a Satellite internet connection that is somewhere between dial up and roadrunner.. But it shouldn't take that long to load should it? I am simply comparing it to another site we've all been a part of that that site loads so much faster on my system. Wish I knew why. Hey, its not like I'm a feather in the cap of a message board or anything like that, but I get frustrated waiting for the homepage to load and I move on. Any one have any suggestions??
