  1. Anthony!! I was actually thinking about that very case when I was on this one. You wouldn't have liked this at all. Glad to see you on the site! I see you got you lucky 7's with you too. This is about the best I could do ... ain't catching many fish.
  2. Jason, thats cool. I forgot the Ocean View crab fest is this Saturday. Also I'm buying another house Friday and will probably do a little work on it this weekend. Now watch the weather be perfect for being on the water! Tom
  3. Jason, what are you planning on fishing for? I think my boat will still be down.
  4. Nice work CM!! It looks like a good time was had by ALL!!
  5. As I mentioned in the PM; I have no first hand experience but will ask at the Norfolk Anglers Club this Monday ... if you can wait that long.
  6. As I said in the other thread - I haven't heard much lately but that doesn't mean much. The flounder bite was good today so bring some flat fish gear.
  7. The flounder bite was hot today according to my brother ... I was stuck at work so bring some flat fish gear. I haven't heard much about the Cobes lately. Good Luck! Tom
  8. That is certainly worth going back for the camera!
  9. If you like it up there by all means stay up that way. It is a great place!
  10. I say stay on the southside ... but I live here!
  11. Jason, I was in the lower bay in that stuff Sunday afternoon. I promise it was not pretty.
  12. Steve, As late in Nov as you can for sure. There can be some big ones found earlier like we did last year but you can't always count on that. Kiptopeke is nice but I would stay on this side simply because of all the other stuff down here. You know you can count on me for any help and I'll certainly try to make arrangements to join y'all on the water. T
  13. I got a reconditioned Garmin 545 from Jim at BOE in your price range. It is a great little machine. http://www.boemarine.com/
  14. Cam, Got the TP2's earlier in the week. Wore them out this weekend and they work great execpt they didn't help my luck
  15. One of several 24 Albemarles running around the lower bay. Hopefully I won't have my fender out!
  16. I'm the same way with my brother ... all I need is one more! WTG
  17. Carlos, It was pretty bizzare. As you know that bridge moves anyway and there is some play in the connection of the two draws. The tube was closed for about 10 minutes so I got a good ride!
  18. Traffic was stopped in the Downtown tunnel the other morning. I ended up on the Berkley Bridge with my front tires were on one half and back tires on the other half of the center drawbridge. There were some strange twists. Got a pic looking straight down. The water is about 50 - 60 feet down.
  19. I see these things all the time around work. Finally had the camera.
  20. That is ok because I haven't taken a long look through the shed. I do know that I don't have that sort of tackle though. Looks like I'll have to put up some other stuff.
  21. Howdy Charlie! WELCOME!! I fish the lower bay myself although I don't get up your way. I visit TF myself and there are a lot of users from around here on there. Reelboating is a great website and I expect will be different from TF. Hope to see you around. Tom
  22. Tom here. Live in Norfolk work in Portsmouth .... #%&$*!" Downtown Tunnel! The Albemarle is kept at Little Creek and fish most the CBBT and lower bay. Formerly from Carolina and post and know a lot of folks in that forum. Holler if you need something! T
  23. The "Mother of all Backlashes" ... is that where your avitar came from? I've done that with braided stainless wire. It's a cool pic in any event.
  24. I remember a couple of years ago on THaT other site the Carolinas forum had almost twice as many posts as the Northeast. Now the NE is catching up. It looks like all of us are over here!
