Wiley, c'mon man, you expect us to believe a revived "email" account associated with a purchased domain name pops up on THT, at the top, no less, telling all who go there to come here, and it was a "coincidence"? Especially after all those who reported on THT about router issues? I could access every one of my bookmarks, Maggies as well, Windows XP, MAC OS 10.5, except for THT... Where's that turnip truck I fell off yesterday? :1121_wink:

Seems the little "hoax" over there played havoc with a lot of people's routers, including mine. New router fixed the problem... Which is bullshit to me! It's one thing to mess around on a competing site, causing a little bit of grief but nothing more, it's another thing to cause the purchase of new hardware. Maybe my Lynksis was headed south, but the issues the hackers pulled certainly didn't help the situation. The way one becomes better in a competitive environment is to do what the other does BETTER. Not pull retarded little 5th grade pranks like were pulled over there. I know Wiley has nothing to do with what happened, but somebody HERE certainly did... :1925_:

What is rather odd is that I haven't been able to get on THT all day. Anybody else around Tampa/St. Pete having issues? Brighthouse/Roadrunner...

The best way to service the generator as you have described would have been to yank the whole damn thing out of the boat, then do the work on the bench back at the shop. Working on a piece of equipment on a bench is pretty much a piece of cake. Same piece of equipment in a bilge? Different story... But to prove that re-assembly was the cause of the failure? That's gonna be a tough one...

So, my friend Mist, what do you have to offer the boating community this evening? Perhaps an electronics/interface install? A lower unit servicing? Some rigging tips? Guys, For those of you in Publix areas, they have a coupon good through tomorrow, $50 gas card for $40. Now, you have to spend $25 (I always do!), and they are only Shell, BP, or Chevron/Texaco. I got the Chevron one, as the Chevron by our house is $3.36/gal, Racetrack $3.35.
