  1. Jeff, one of my members found a guy that has a bunch-O used motors . Check out member, jettywolf on aluminumalloyboats.com or get him here.....http://www.fish-jacksonville-fishing.com/
  2. Loosing prime could and probably is a bad bulb , fuel pick up tube or fuel line. As said above , swap fuel lines and run her up and see what ya get . How many hours are on the motors and do you run any additives in the fuel system ?
  3. Pacific26 , loose the fighting chair and add seating in front of the console , move console back 1.5'-2' there is a head in the CC. The 26 is 26'-3" and has a 8'-6" beam has a 150 gallon fuel tank , should have about 400+ mile range with a 225 or 250 HP motor. She will weigh in at about 6000 lbs on the trailer ready to go. Go to www.pacificboats.com to see more options. These are Plate alloy boats , 1/4" plate hulls , they handle , ROCKS, LOGS, Glass boats and whatever else floats .
  4. Should have been here in North Texas today , made yours look like a Spring shower.
  5. Wiley , I like the colors , it does take me a bit to load up the 1st time [ Dial up here ] but looking good so far.
  6. Hey Chris, good to hear from ya. I would go with #1 in a F250, it's a PROVEN motor. Yes you can Haul but down there in the bay BUT I have been in those bays when , SLOW and POWER is needed due to weather. Like they say in Texas, You don't like the weather just wait 15 min. I try to keep my rig as simple as possible all the way around , there is too much to go wrong out on the big water.
  7. DUDE.................NOT THE BLUE ONE, they fall apart before hitting the water. Just kidding , she is PERTY.
  8. This will be a great build and I will follow it , always can learn more by seeing what others do.
  9. NEVER use string to pull with , string will cut other hoses and wires, use a coated wire like #12 stranded, the plastic coating will NOT CUT other stuff in your chase. And don't for get to pull in another piece of pull wire when using the one you left in there for future pulls. As said above ^^^^use a helper so the both of you can push and pull at the same time . Good luck.
  10. I just don't like the smell of a 2 stroke and YES every Etec I have been next to , stinks. This is not a bash , just what I like . The only thing worse than a stinky 2 stroke to me is a diesel , Diesel will make me BARF. I am glad to see that BRP has got the Etec's moving on . Now, Run what ya brung and lets go fishing.
  11. All that [ Grate Reports ] and no pictures...
  12. Tim, you bum, I want to go . On them Kings remember to use a VERY light drag until there on and then still take it easy . Horsing a king in will pull the hook almost every time . I have actually had a couple Kings caught with the Hook in it's mouth they usually are hooked in the side of the head due to the way they ATTACK the jig. When I am trolling I set the drag where I can use just my thumb a finger to pull more line out , maybe 2 or 3 lbs , since I started doing this I have not lost a king .
  13. Welcome to Reel Boating, I dig your Alloy.

  14. For y'all that are having a tough time with the heat , here is a shot of a Glacier where we were running our Shrimp Pots. When these little chunks if ice are bouncing off of your hull it makes one DANG HAPPY to be in Plate ALLOY...............Not a dent!
  15. Was hoping to make it this month but I might have to save some more beer cans up to pay for fuel. I WILL call before I come down though, I like the buddy boat set up , lots more comfortable.
  16. Here is Marks [ MojoMizer ] Ride , it's a Pacific 2325 with a 5' Pilot house , it's a fishing machine. Mark has posted more pictures or our Alaska trip on AAB , http://www.aluminumalloyboats.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&p=22601&sid=f7e53d2123fba220454843deb88bafb3#p22601 We are up to 3 pages and a few more are added every day . Wiley I'm not trying to spam my site here, it's just a pain to post pictures on Dial up .
  17. Here is some burning Ribeyes that Mojo was doing last sept. No wounder I'm getting fatter ...
  18. We are already talking about a 2nd trip next summer and hope to have 3 or 4 Alloy beasts get together. I was in SoCal last Nov. with 5 Alloy rides similar to mine , it was a blast. The Meet and Greets we have done so far are a GOOD TIME had by all and if we don't catch any fish there is always something cooked or BBQ'd that is AWESOME. I wounder if Wiley or one of the Gang here is going to put together a RB Meet and Greet ?
  19. Hey Tim whats up ? The speed jigs worked well on the rock fish then we went heavy [ 3 lb weights and 20/0 circle hooks ] for the butts and ling cod.
