  1. Not being a butt, but you get what you pay for... My Shure buds have been with me for quite some time! X2 on the Klipsch ear buds also...
  2. I have owned a pair of Shure e2c's that are absolutely amazing. Shure is an excellent company with some pretty neat stuff, mine came with three different earbuds in three different sizes. As a rule of thumb, Bose is just another four letter word. Their headphones do not sound bad but if you are looking for quality, they are not the direction I would look. Shure has changed their model numbers since my purchase but I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. PD
  3. I purchased my first boat two years ago and had some issues with brokers... They assumed I was too young to be serious. I ended up driving 8 or so hours from Savannah to Beaufort, NC just because the broker took his time and answered my questions! And bought the boat Kudos to John @ Radio Island Marina and I feel your pain.
  4. 1968 Ford Mustang with a 200 inline 6, with a c4 automatic. Seafoam green. I'll never forget that booger! It would barely move itself out of the way.
  5. Wonder if anyone will get pissed off with the following statement? I wonder who funded that venture... Seems like free gaffing a lively Mako would be a less than ideal situation, on the deck of any boat! Sometimes I wish my daddy was rich enough for me to play on a big boat like that, and do dumb shit.
  6. Its 299.99 but I would say a playstation 3. It has one of the best processors and does internet as well. Just my .02...
  7. Very cool ads indeed. I rock a 67 Mustang because she has a personality, not great mileage and plastic bumpers... PD
  8. Samsung 1080P LCD for the win. I work with televisions and televisions only on a daily basis. I can say without a doubt that Samsung is a safe bet. I would also 2nd Mr. Williams comment on the warranty/service plans offered by most retailers on these televisions. Hope you never need one but they are invaluable on a "large ticket" item such as a television. Sony is nice BUT IMO Sony is just another 4 letter word with a hefty price tag to boot. One last note, online retailers are great for rock bottom prices but it's typically better to have a physical location to go into if you need any assistance after the sale. Happy Hunting, PD
  9. Hello all, I have 8 invites for Google Wave. I am not really sure how it works but it you're interested pm your gmail address and I will send you an invite. PD
  10. Interesting read, looks like the mini-satellite tagging could really have a wealth of knowledge to lend in regards to their migratory patterns! Thanks for the post. PD
  11. I'm digging the new lay-out! Looking good and easier to navigate so far. Thanks Wiley!! PD
  12. X2 on no BLEACH on stitching!! I made the mistake once and it cost me $750. Unless you have a nylon stitch the bleach will eat straight through it. At least thats what I was told when I picked up all my recovered upholstery pieces. PD
  13. Umm could this be a constantly running thing? I think I may be able to contribute consistently.
  14. I worked in large scale commercial irrigation on golf courses for a few summers and they had some sort of tube that we used, you would use wire nuts to connect the wire then sink the wire into these tubes of some thick liquid that would waterproof them for burial.... I used those on my trailer and just prettied it up with electrical tape, no issues on abt two years now. PD
