I agree, some sort of housing would be needed to place it near the trolling motor. Why not just have a remote control to the trolling motor placed at the helm? Nice looking boat, what kind of fishing is it intended for? T-Top? What are the future plans for the beast? PD

Good to know, I assumed it was like a typical "night" vision, not thermal... Pretty sweet! X2 on the inverted mount for the spot on the bow rail! I mounted a set of Hella spreaders on the front of my t-top and removed them a day later after the install. way too much glare.
