  1. Just wondering how much damage to expect to the boat finish from one of these and do they hold up well?
  2. Stick with a major brand and get something a little larger than you think you need. I think most solar chargers don't produce as well as the mfg claims but that being said the setup I bought does everything I need. It's nice not worrying about my batteries any more.   3. Absolutely! I was rearended a few years back sitting at a stop waiting for school bus. Pretty bad wreck. First thing the state cop did was check MY brake lights. I'd get those surge brakes working.
  4. Thinking of an electric winch for my 20 Bayliner. The boat weighs about 3000 lbs. I don't have a ton of money right now. What would do the job and how do I power it?
