"It's just my opinion I could be wrong." Well from the number of replies and support you've received since you posted this 6 weeks ago, it looks like you are.
-
Well I've been away for awhile too, and from what I have read today it seems like there are a lot of childish-like Florida Sportsman posters on here.

I fished on a 42 with triple Merc's a couple of times. It really spoils you!

Someone with no personal experience "chiming in" here, just to clarify something. If you know what you are talking about, post a link to a Mercury site verifying what you have said. Otherwise, I "believe" you do not know what you are talking about FYI, posting rumors is of no help to anyone. -
In reference to the recent spat on THT between MOD 4 and Renegade69 that resulted in Renegade69's being banned - whether those of us who witnessed that situation agree with MOD 4 or Renegade69, that discussion does not need to be carried over to this site, and I would hope that Wiley realizes this and deletes this thread.

This 2003 Grady White 306 Bimini is like new and loaded with options, with only 170 hours on the port engine and 15 hours on the starboard engine (starboard engine was stolen 6 months ago and replaced with a new/2009 engine with 4 years of warranty remaining). This boat is in immaculate condition, and you will look a long time to find another 306 with as many options and low hours as this one (and as you will see in the price, I am motivated to sell). Lift kept, so there is no bottom paint and no trailer. A long time Contender owner told me that Contender is considering making their Sea Chest standard. Anyone else hear this?
-
Racor is the standard by which all other fuel filter/water separator are judged, so my recommendation is to stick with Racor. FYI, with your limited space, Racor makes a small version of their standard outboard model - it's about half the size of the ones you generally see (<- the ones with a blue drain bowl on the bottom) and has plenty of fuel flow capacity for a 70hp two-stroke.
-
Actually that is one of the smaller attack subs. The missile subs are almost twice that long - and much wider.

Has not sold a boat in six months

OK ole' wise one, inquiring minds want to know who they were in their former life? -
Me too.
-
I had a bottle and it was real thick - almost a paste, although it was in a bottle, and it was somewhat difficult to apply. Is it still a very thick substance, and do you consider it difficult to apply?

Sounds like you are suffering from "lack-a-boat-hunting-syndrome". Solution = "get-back-on-da-road-hunting-a-boat"

Yes, they called me too.

Question For The Cpas In Tha Housa!
First Light replied to emudryj's topic in Boating and Fishing Discussion
Here is another site that should help: http://www.cpa-exam.org/cpa/iqex/int_appl.html -
With a 4kw radar you can visibly see the same birds your radar can see - unless you are looking at night, or it's foggy. To do what you want to do, which is find birds beyond what you can visibly see, you need a minimum of 6kw - 8 or 12kw is better.
-
Good deal.

A lot will depend on the year. If it is 2-4 years old, I've seen them going for about 60 - 70% of their original cost. 5-10 year old engines, 50% down to as low as 25% of their original cost. In some markets two strokes are easy for a seller to sell, and in others, you can't give them away. You will be wise to run either brand for a reasonable period of time prior to purchase, or if the engine is not still on its original transom, a prudent buyer will have a qualified mechanic do a compression test, plus check out the lower unit.
