  1. My Eagle 320 fishfinder/GPS plotter just died. Antenna and transducers are fine. All I really need it for is the gps/plotter function so I don't have to have a fishfinder. This unit is 6-7 years old. All I really need is the head but will take whatever I can get. I need to be able to use my SD card with all my fishing spots on it. Lowrance or Eagle about 6-7 years old needed. captken@fishcatching101.com
  2. Take a look at the photos and descriptions of the hooks below. $100 total plus $4.95 actual postage. All of these are new Mustad hooks that have never been on the boat. Basically, they are left over odds and ends. 1) 38 needle eye hooks 6/0 to 12/0 Mustad tinned 2) 3 Stainless plus 12 welded eye big game hooks 3) 19 Siwash stainless steel open eye hooks 4) Double hooks for lures and rigs 10 Stainless steel, 11 tinned 5) 12 Black Nickle 10 & 7/0 weighted "Dink" hooks. 6)More large, heavy duty Doubles Maybe 10/0 or so There are 118 hooks in the box. If my calculations are anywhere near correct, $100 is less than 1/2 the Offshore Angler price. After selling several thousand, I still have several thousand of the VMC hooks.
  3. 10/0 forged hooks professionally rigged on 625# test stainless 49 strand cable. $4 each or 25 rigs for $90. These rigs are IGFA legal. Total length from the eye of the top hook to the bend of the bottom hook 7-1/8." These are plated not Stainless Steel hooks. This is less than 1/4 for what you'd pay for the hooks alone. Use them to rig Marlin or Wahoo trolling lures or to hang beef.
  4. Regularly, 3.69/2 pack My price, $ 15/24 pack. See last item on catalog page below. I bought them to use on Spreader rigs then sold my boat. I have a bunch.
  5. Snook are biting just fine in local waters from Bayport to YT. Tarpon are playing hard to get. Grouper fishing is as good as it gets. Two limits in the first 20 minutes of trolling last week.
  6. Yankeetown fishing is heating up. Gulf Tarpon are arriving. (The bright, silver kind, not the ones that overwintered in local rivers and canals.)
