Parallel battery hookup

if you connect two batteries in parrallel the voltage would remain the same and the cca's will double. both batteries will act as one and a single bank charger would be fine as long as both the batteries are good. if one is weaker than the other then the good one will discharge into the other and average out the voltage. you would use a 2 bank charger for batteries that are isolated from one another such as starting and house banks. -
does anyone know if there is a sisu boat owners group. if not would anyone be interested in starting one. anyone who doesnt know SISU is a downeaser built in the late seventees and eighties, designed by royal lowell, and built in dover, delaware. it came in a 22', 26', and a 30'. this is the 30' model and was built in 1980.
