  1. Probably headed down Thursday night to get some gear ready and mow the grass. Fishing buddies won't be there until Friday night so should hit it first thing Saturday. Think we are going to push it and see how far we can get out before hitting the bigger seas. ReefCast shows the seas at around 6 ft out past the tower but with a 11 second period so it should be doable. I need blood (fish) in the boat.
  2. I made it over just haven't posted much - but I never do. Sorry I missed the last one with Robbie's cookin. My wife cooked up some King nuggets this weekend and man they were good. My son cooked some King fillets on the grill and they were excellent also. He is trying to learn to cook and has become pretty good with the grill but still needs some guidance once in a while. He has one more year of college and then he cooks his own meals.
  3. Picked up some crimpers and sleeves at the Southport store this weekend and there were a bunch of people in the store buying. If someone doesn't open something similar in that location it is going to be hard to get all the "varied" gear needed for fishing/boating. Hooks, weights, line and all those things are pretty easy to find at the local stores, but bags, rod holders, coolers, electronics are going to be tough without driving all over the coast to get each thing you need. Should have kept them open and liquidated Ritz!
  4. I second (or third) the PLB, preferable the McMurdo
  5. Congratulations Wiley!!! Thanks for bringing back what we once had. Hoping this site will live up to everyone's expectations.
