  1. In addition to the things I mentioned before, with 2 daughters and a wife the vacu-flush was a must! I also opted to get the filler cushion that fits between the forward seating so they can sleep, play or sun themselves on family outings.
  2. Why just those 3 makes? Bob Dougherty fan? I have a 26' Southport for sale on this site that, imo, rides better than all three of those. In fact, when I bought her, I had narrowed my list to the Everglades, the Edgewater and the Southport and you can see which one won. I don't have a trailer, but let me know if you're interested. Best, Tack

  4. If any of you have been waiting to own the what I believe is the best running 26' center console available, this may be your chance. This boat is in the water in Stamford Harbor and available now. It's an '06 but has an unbelievably low 180 hrs on the twin yamaha 225s that are under factory warranty until October 2012. The boat is equipped with the Raymarine C-120 gps/chartplotter, 2kw radome and DSM-300 fishfinder module, ICom 502 vhf radio and Clarion CMD4 radio/cd player. It also has the std console side curtains, stainless boarding ladder, collapsible outriggers as well as extras like the center cushion for the bow seating, floodlights both fore and aft, custom canvas to cover the electronics and helm and a new fresh-water washdown spigot under the port gunnel to match the seawater spigot on the starboard side. The boat has been serviced and maintained by a local marina with factory-trained yamaha mechanics and is running beautifully. Come see her or sea-trial her, if you're seriously interested in owning a phenomenal boat... you won't be disappointed! Asking $82,500.
