  1. Just spoke to Scott at AmeraCat today. They just got thru running the 33 light load 2 people 100 gal fuel 250 yamahas. 26 mph 2.1 mpg 30 mph 1.9 mpg 40 mph 1.5 mpg 48.5 mph 1.1mpg

  4. 3.2 gallons per mile? Ya, typo. 3.2 mpg at cruise.
  5. I designed one so that it comes up automatically. What's fun is having another boat warn us that the ladder is down (while idling), I just bump the throttle and it comes up automatically at about 5mph. After replacing a couple at $200 a pop. You would think one would remember after the first time but we dive and scallop all the time. A friend has a large note next to the key "dive ladder" and we have still forgotten it. I don't care who is the last one out of the water its the guy runnin' the boat that needs to make sure all is well.
