They are steady building the CC's Still waiting on completion of the cabin mold though to finish mine. You gotta go for a ride on one.

Don't know what Ameracat's plans are on that, you'll have to check with them. I do know they have a 20 now, but its not considered an offshore boat.

Once the plug is done, they'll build the mold. I think they have 2 or 3 cc's in line at the moment.

Anticipation. Had to check it out. Now they'll pull the plug back off and finish it then make the mold from it.

Its just another choice. Canvas is less expensive, lighter and has more color options.

My boat is out of the mold and has the interior gelcoat done and ready for the cabin.

I'm getting an Xpress Pilothouse. And I think they will be doing a walkaround type pilothouse also.

I'm curious--How Many Have an EPIRB?

We have an EPIRB with gps. Its something that you really hate spending money on because its not something you use often and hope you never do. But when the day comes that its needed you will feel like a fool if you don't have it. -

They pulled the first hull from the mold today.

From the newsletter I got, its my understanding nothing has really changed. The GB is more for cruising, and the WC is more for fishing, but each will do both.

Its not far away they have started production now.

Went down yesterday to watch them pull the mold off the plug or actually pulled the plug from the mold. You can see a short video of it on the website. It won't be long now.

Jassman, It looks like it should fit fine. You may already have it figured out, but the easiest thing to do is loosen the bunks slide them in so they will fit inside the tunnel, put a 2x6 or 8 down on the I-beam and one vertically on the face of the bracket that supports the bunk and carpet them. Probably won't require two full 8' 2x's.

Just because you've ridden on one cat don't mean they are all the same. No more than v-hulls are all the same. There are some cats that don't have the udesirable handling as seen in others.
