Latest upgrade: I often wondered if the engine could be raised another hole and what benefit a pair of 5 degree wedges would be to this boat. Well, now I know that both were well worth the time and limited cost. I spent a couple of hours and about $65.00 on this project. The results: She will definitely hold a plane at a lower speed. Now about 17 mph. She will plane with the tabs down with almost zero bow rise. I am really gonna like the wedges when I have 10 people on board and we are coming home in a steep 3' chop, which looks as if it may happen this weekend.
