    we were riding on the Neuse River Sat, and had the top laid down, (Bimi), and it was trying to start sprinkling rain some, not hard, but was getting to the point we stopped to raise the top back up, the VHS ant. was buzzing the radio was off by a switch on the boat console, it stopped after a few seconds, it is a small stain steel whip, about three feet long, fasten to a PVC mount, it is grounded thru the boats wiring system, and picks up power from the boats system, no special wires ran for its install. was this a sign of maybe lighting getting ready to strike? or something else. never heard it again with the top up, and it does not touch the top.
