  1. Hi all, Our engines have ended under the 5 year Yamaha warrenty and we were wondering if anybody has tried any other brands of oil other than Yamalube. Any help you could provide would be great. Thanks in advance Jules
  2. I just wanted to bump this thread in case anybody else might have some insite or ideas that would help us figure out how to fix this issue, I will have to give yamaha a call as the engines are still under warranty but thought somebody here might have some ideas. thanks
  3. Hi Ludicrus, I was not aware that there were switches on the system as it is enclosed in the center consol I will have to remove the back plate if I can and see what is there. How do you adjust it? any info would be appreciated. thanks for the reply
  4. Hi All, I am a new member to this site, my husband and I used to be on THT but have decided to join here with Wiley. We are charter captains from Boston Area and are having trouble with the fuel management system on our twin Yamaha 225's The numbers are not accurate as far as counting upward on gallons used, it is off by abouit 30-40 gallons, the dip stick level us closer to being accurate but last year we found this problem because we ran out of fuel on 2 different occasions. So when we got the boat in the water this year we check the wiring to the fuel tank and it was corroded, so we fixed the wires and thought we were all set until I filled the boat a second time and the numbers were off again as I keep track with log I have on the boat and write down how much fuel we get every time and how much we have burned. Any Ideas anybody might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much and glad to be a part of this site.
