Hello all, I am in the market for a left handed lever drag/level wind reel for Bay Area Sturgeon fishing and an occasional trip to the Columbia in Oregon. It seems that I can get either the lever drag or the level wind feature in a lefty model, but not both. I am hoping you guys can steer me in the right direction. I have been looking to settle for the Penn 321 with the star drag, but if you guys know a better option that would have all that I am looking for please let me know. Thanks

I also have 180 hours on my main engine. GPS unit says I have traveled 1800 miles, that includes miles traveled on the trolling motor and on the drift etc... I only use my main to get to/from the fishing holes, which are pretty close to my various launch ramps.

Hello everybody, I just found this site and I am very happy to join. I was an old THT member known as "PB1967". At this point I am pretty much an inactive THT member. I do remember however many of the old members educating me in many aspects of boat ownership and the lessons learned were always appreciated. I do not have a big boat at all (20' G3 2072cc Yamaha F115), but I still enjoy getting out as much as I can and enjoying the freedom of having a boat. My fishing style is mainly geared towards the San Francisco/Sacramento Delta and its many sloughs where I target largemouth bass, striped bass and sturgeon. I also go to a few Northern California lakes for both bass and trout. I am glad to be here and I look forward to reading, posting and learning!
