    My current GPS on my boat has died and I need a new one. I've mainly looked at Garmins, but any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm looking to stay in the $500 range. Thanks in advance!

    I would go as late as possible in November. Normally after Thanksgiving is when the Striper Fishing really picks up. If you could put off until December it would be even better.

    Wow...I live in Williamsburg and work in Va. Beach. I'm glad to see I'm not the only crazy making that drive!

    I'm guessing this had to be the case...it just doesn't look bad enough out there to capsize a 25' boat. Although, pictures can be deceiving...

    I've been on the water almost my whole life, but didn't own my first boat until about 3 years ago. I took the U.S. Power Squadrons course back in 2002.

    I'm on the lower bay, our boat is kept on the York River. I've lived near the Bay all of my life and hope never to leave.

    Hey Y'all!!! Just joined after getting Wiley's email. And to think, I almost deleted it thinking it was SPAM. I'm glad I clicked it!! I have '96 Shamrock Stalker 220 with a 350 Indmar and do all of my boating on the York River and Chesapeake Bay in Virginia. I'm happy to be a member of this great new site!!
