    It was an old POS 16' Gulfcraft with a 40hp Evinrude Lark. Had to sit on the transom and bear hug the engine to steer. Bought it for $150 with my cousin. We were 15 & 16 yo back then. Good times...

    It's great to be here Wiley, thanks for the heads-up e-mail. Just looking for a friendly boating forum. I miss some of the characters on THT. They were a big help in finding and outfitting my boat. Been spending time airboating in the Everglades. Great, friendly crowd at Southernairboat.com. No one gets left behind.
