  1. im super busy right now also but this is very interesting to me. i need good photos all the time. thanks again for the heads up. i spoke to a good friend thats a pro and he said he was aware of it and would help me.

  4. learn something new every day. thanks...im finding this whole thing very interesting. i usually just use the burn and dodge tool to lighten dark areas or darken light ones....this is pretty tech. im thinkin the wider the gap in exposure the better it would work. my wife has a masters degree in photography and taught it at the college level. hasnt been in the dark room in a decade and just kinda bagged it on the tech side of digital......its a shame..........still has a great eye however. im still fighting my way from the darkroom to photoshop.
  5. i just usually use "levels" to adjust and sometimes "contrast and hue"....i should learn more . i use my photos professionally all the time ....its a lot easier than the slide BS i used to have to do....lot cheaper too. that is some nice work...digitally speakin.

  7. no ice this winter at all. actually a lot of real nice wind free days...pretty rare for here. lotta nice days ahead. i know what you mean about the redfish. one day in port eads a bunch of guys didnt go offshore but went redfishin. i was pretty impressed with the pile of fish they came back with. in about two hours. good luck in the contests

  9. i lost my slip so with the price of gas i skipped the summer and redid the raw water intake and the cockpit. looking forward to this summer at a new slip.

  12. im just happy to put the boat back in the water as i missed last summer (lots of kayak fishin however). tuna is the target....but mahi fingers taste good too. and inshore i love fluke....but the regs are a joke.

  16. i really like doing what passes for work...but geez...theres a limit. smithsonian show is in the national building museum from april 23-27.
  17. completely nuts. 4 shows in the next 4 months....two next month at the same time. i kissed the winter off and worked every day. didnt go snowboarding or fishing or surfing or anything.......and i almost liked it. i 've been following the blog and get lots of hits from the link.(thanks!!) just updated...take a look . seriously...nice to talk to you...
