  2. OEM spec's,any major brand? More to this question?
  3. Furuno and Garmin..Have had some bad dealings with Raymarine support staff!
  4. That is one sweeeeeeetee boat! Iwould love to be on it when it's (time to go home!)
  5. The bashing gets real old, more often than not, if you asked a question(on the other site) you would start a war, and maybe, or maybe not, your question would be answered after the dust settled!
  6. Say bye bye to the Studabaker, stick a fork in it, it's done!
  7. None, the safest is call boatus, let them tow you out, when you get finished drift fishing, call'em again and tell them you need to be fetched. They do offer "unlimited towing" don't they?
  8. Don't want to beat the brand, but I had excellent results with their eagle products, not so much with lowrance. Several people I fish with have swore off them. Customer service seems to be their biggest complaint. One friend has gone through three screens, Fogging,Freezing up- not cold, and loosing bottom (combo unit). Have problems with most units from time to time, but it seems Lowrance is over the top.
  9. Twin 09 suzuki df 140's 2.5 hours, no problems so far.
  10. Glad I'm not an iron worker, cause my name is Joe, and i'm an ordinary Joe. Is that what you are refering to? Cause ordinary Joe's are what this country is! Just not sure on the Joe boating thing though. Carry on!
  11. Real bad everywhere in south Fl (almost everywhere) in miami to key west, Bahamas may be slightly worse.
  12. I've had one since new, the answer is no from my merc dealer.
  13. Yamaha's suck Evinrudes suck Mercurys suck Suzuki's suck All motors suck but mine My boat is faster than your boat not so your boat sucks no, your boat sucks no, you suck, no' yes you do do not ect... ect...sucks.............
  14. Boating, is Boating. I see no need for a seperate catagory. Heck, I think more people would learn about electronics if there wasen't a seperate catagory.
  15. I'm going with door number 2. Have done it many times over the years. Not sure about the 99 25, but have converted merc's and johnrudes for years in that hp range. Most manafactures have mounting gromets built in at factory for exterior cables. I'd go to a site like teleflex.com, or whatever teleflex's site is, and check for compatable cables..Dealers don't know(or care) about this conversion! I'd bet money on this one!
  16. Nice looking older Bert! Good luck! Sharp Boat.
  17. I stumbled onto a site a couple weeks ago of guys cleaning tuna on a japaneese fishing/processing ship. Faster than these vid.'s I'll try to stumble again.
