1. For Sale 2009 World Cat 270 Sport Deck This might be the most versatile 27’ boat on the water. A Dual Console with comfortable seating for 12+ and lots of storage. It makes an excellent family island hopping boat or with its Semi-Displacement Cat hull and all the fishing amenities, it makes a top choice for offshore, nearshore or inshore fishing. I have had this boat for about 1 ½ years and have done every thing under the sun in it. I bought it as a NEW left over in March of 2010. We’ve had a number of banner days fishing the blue water of the Gulf Stream for Dolphin and other pelagics. The large fish boxes were slammed! With excellent fuel efficiency and a 200 gallon fuel tank, it has made countless trips out in the Gulf of Mexico as far as 125 miles to do some Grouper and Snapper digging. The twin 225 HP Suzuki’s handled beautifully. On other days when we desired to fish closer to home, we have caught our limit of Trout, and Redfish in the grass flats as this vessel only drafts 18” (with a normal load). In addition, our family has had countless days of island hopping, cruising and just plain relaxing on the water. The enclosed head is perfect for women and the kids and there is more than enough storage for all the gear you could possible want to bring. This Cat rides like a much larger boat but is incredibly efficient as well. At cruise, I’ve seen as good as 2.3 MPG and typically see 1.8-2.0 when loaded for offshore fishing. Normal cruise speeds are between 28-32 MPH and WOT is about 50+ mph. In addition to the already mentioned features, this 270SD also has: • Hard top with 6 rod holders and electronics box • Fresh and raw water wash down • 31 Gal lighted / insulated live well on the port stern • 120 quart insulated fish box on the starboard stern • Large bow insulated fish box port and bow storage starboard • Additional 110 quart insulated fish box under the molded in guest seating mid ship. • Removable bench seating in the cockpit • VHF, CD stereo • Triple batteries w/ switch • Multiple beverage holders • Tackle storage, lockable rod storage, rod holders • Taco Grand Slam 15’ Outriggers • Windless with 15‘ of chain and 600’ of rode. • Garmin 4210 • Serious Satellite Antenna (for satellite weather and radio) • and way too much more to list. It also has a 10 year transferable structural hull warrantee and the boat has been serviced regularly (most recently July 2011) and has all the records. The boat is in excellent shape overall (9 out of 10) and has about 230 hours on it. Lots more info to be found on the World Cat Website at http://www.worldcat.....70SD/index.php For more information, contact Eric via email @ escharber@tampabay.rr.com or call me at 727-244-2026. 2. Diferent size range but I recently went from a mid 20's Mono to a 27' World Cat. There is no comparison in this size range. The cat does far better in the bigger seas. Not sure about the 30+ class but I do like the Cat so far. The 32 WC and the 33 Freeman are both awesome looking / performing boats.
 3. I just sold my Hydra Sports 2500CC and am currently shopping. I'm not in a huge rush but do want to get something before too long. I'm ready when the right deal comes. I just have to narrow down what I want. gong to the boat show in a few weeks to help with that.
 4. Can't wait for the show... just sold my last boat and ready to find the next ride!

Here are the details… 2005 HS Vector 2500 cc Twin Yamaha 4-Stroke 225s Stainless Steel Props Yamaha Extended Warrantee until 2012! Heres a link to the HS website for this boat - http://www.hydrasports.com/mInfo.cfm?mid=5450 Boat is stored high and dry and is VERY clean. Performance wise, I have been as fast as 58mph (light) but cruise around 38-40mph at 3800-4000 rpms (depending on the load). I never do worse than 1.5 mpg (loaded to fish and lots of gas) even in substantial seas with lots of tab. When taking it easy, 2-2.2 mpg is attainable. I would say I average about 1.8mpg on fishing trips, all day long with a normal chop / seas. I think the 225s are the perfect set up for this boat!
