I would assume Mercury and Yamaha will make it to 400hp easily with the current Verado and V8(Yamaha) motors they have now. I would have to think the down turn in the economy will slow down the horsepower race after 400..................at least for a little while.

That is not the case with Yellowfin at all. Although the majority have been Mercury they have built a large portion of boats with Yamahas. I have scene them rig Suzukis, Etecs and even a Honda. They will rig the motor of your choice.
