I'm using 1708 biax on everything. It's a little hard in some areas to get to bend at a 90 degree but will work. Used about 1 1/2 rolls so far and right at 60 gallons of epoxy. Pretty much through with glassing.

When I start having issues like this, I connect my battery straight to the motor with some 3' cables to eliminate any battery switch and connections at the battery problems and work my way backwards.

Hard to believe no one hooked up a portable tank first. Could have saved a lot of time.

I have twin engines with suzuki gauges & ignition. The port ignition alarm does not sound off when you turn the key to on. Starboard works. Anyone know what to look for or what part to replace??
Thanks in advance
Try switching them with each other. That will rule out the horn itself.

I guess I spoke to soon. Took the boat out and after about 30 minutes into our journey, the strbd engine dies...Just my luck. I try to re-start is wtih no luck. Know it cranks just fine but will not turn over. I was able to get it to start a few times but it would just run for a few seconds and then sputter and die. Again, no issues with the port engine are present. To me it sounds like a fuel issue now...What are your thoughts? Have I been attacked by the Ethanol Monster? I do put Stabil Ethonal treatment in ever tank fill up. FML.
Is your primer bulb pumping up? Check the filter on the front of the engine. Is it full? Is the red
ring sitting at the bottom? Try switching the fuel lines from one engine to the other. Fuel issues can be a pain to track down.
Check your main filters for water and trash also.

If I were to mount them behind the rod holders wouldn't the fiberglass gridded in 1 inch squares and 1/4 inch drilled holes and the speaker sealed with clear silicone to the inside fiberglass be the same as a speaker grid.
My thought is if down the road I don't want them there any more it is a heck of a lot easer to just patch the 1/4 inch holes com paired to a 6 inch BIG hole????
I'm in my 50's and like my music but it doesn't have to be earpericing just want to be able to hear it while crusing to that hot spot but mostly while she's on the lift and we are on the dock fishing or working on the boats. I actually thought about those wakeboard
arch speakers but I am already have too much on the T-Top now. Plus I don't want the system to be over $400.
Maybe some of the electronics guys would chime in it would be greatly appreciated.
I have 4 Memphis Audio speakers hooked to a $60 300 amp. I hooked up my Ipod directly to the amp. I have an Ijet remote that hooks to my Ipod which also receives am/fm. I can control my Ipod from anywhere on the boat up to 150 feet away.
You should see some of the looks I get when I change the volume or songs from my beach chair. My Ipod stays
inside my console safe and dry. The rf remote is about the size of a pack of gum.

Some new pics. Running and Jeff's boat. Sitting across from the Big Rock weigh in. I am going to move the numbers back some. Looks kind of funny where they are.
Parrott, those are some great looking boats. You should be VERY proud!
I'm still waiting to see pics of the cockpit area and the front compartment.
I'm looking for a set of plans that include a small cuddy where my son can get out of the heat.
I just finished all the nonskid tonight. Im bringing the boat back home tomorrow and I'll get you some pics.
There is enough room up front to get inside. I have kind of halfway laid down inside to see how it was. Not too bad
if your not too big.

?
Shameless bump there, Parrott?
Hey, what is the forward area of the boat used for? Is it open area, anchor locker, or a small cabin?
I have a pic running and was trying to post it. For some reason it wouldn't attach and I had to go somewhere.
The area in front is like a small cabin area. I have to get inside and finish it off, maybe a headliner of some sort and
covering over the plywood. Can't seem to get a pic posted.
