Ok you can try rebuilding both carbs, sounds like they are all gunked up. I bet they are rochester carbs. Remove them from the manifold, split the bottom from the top half, and allow them to soak in acetone over night, make sure the whole carb is submerged. In the morning you remove them and blow dry with compressed air, and with a can of carb cleaner blow theu ever little hole, make sure EVERY hole is spotless. Then with the compressed air blow dry again repeat till its clean, reassemble carb, and reinstall with a fresh gasket, on the manifold. When both are reinstalled, turn in the adjustment screw carefully, GENTLY, YOU DO NOT WANT TO BEND THE BALL ON THE END OF THE ADJUSTMENT SCREWS, till they bottom out. Then back out with both screw 2-2 1/2 turns to start. There is a screen / filter at the inlet fitting of each carb remove and clean or replace each filter. There is a filter in the fuel pump, clean it. Then disconnect the inlet hose from the fuel pump and put temp a hose on to a external tank of fresh fuel. Dribble a little gas in each carb. And fire it up. Or you can take both carbs to a pro and let him rebuild them.
