    It's been a couple of weeks that one of THT and RB's members passed away....not much attention paid over at THT, but I thought it would be worth mentioning here...Aubrey was a retired CW4 Helicopter pilot in the Army, and passed away while fishing a little over 2 weeks ago...he joined here in early June, and only had the opportunity to make 2 posts. Not a good month to be 62 either....R.I.P. brother Chief......

    I prefer the "older" GI Bill....paid my college in NYC (tuition was $60.00 per semester for NYC residents) and paid for my apartment right next to the campus....$400 or so per month was decnt change just for going to school full time; also had a nice pilot training provision...my cousin, who flies for the airlines still, simply had to pay for his private pilot's license, and the rest was picked up by the VA to the tune of 90%, I believe....you had 72 months to use it, and many a Vietnam era vet utilized the bill.

    To be fair, I was lurking at THT last weekend, and Mensies, you were way off base with the profanity, repetitive attacks on multiple members, ignoring the warnings from MODS...it was shocking...I've lurked at THT for almost a year, so what I saw last weekend was nothing like what I have ever seen in the past...I'm no prude, but geez, it's a no wonder you lasted a day or so before you got banned...that's all I've got to say about that. My simple rule is if you disrespect another man's house, expect to be unceremoniously removed from his home.
