What year motor. It may be the shift rod between the powerhead and the lower is rusting thin. Hold the bottom and move the linkage at the top by hand. How much "twist" is there? If this is the problem then it means the powerhead needs to come off which can be a nightmare. It's been sitting in the same spot for over a year with "SOLD" scrawled on the side. I thought it might be the boat's name until I looked at the transom. I've been driving past it without so much as a second look until I noticed that it was an inboard, which I had previously overlooked because of the weeds growing all around it. Winter has beaten them down enough so that I could finally see the prop. No, I didn't think to check the HIN but I will take a peek at some point. I don't think that it's a Tiara, the glass is just too lousy. My guess is that it is local built using an old mold. And my other guess is that it's still for sale.

This boat caught my eye... single inboard, modern looking Vee underbody. I really liked the design but the glass work didn't look to hot. Anyone know what it is? Steve P.
