  1. Day late, dollar short....never looked for any more raft-ups....
  2. Just curious, if you used one of the poly-planer mp3 to RCA connectors, what would power the speakers other than the ipod itself? I use my ipod and a small set of battery powered speakers. If I didnt want to have to go thru, say, the 'external input' jack of a radio, what could I use to power a set of 'regular' speakers?
  3. Hell, I'd just like to know where I can find a locking gas cap for mine...
  4. Sorry to hear that Bro...pick a date for another raft-up & we'll have a throw down, take yer mind off yer troubles...at least for a day.
  5. Looks like a Darwin Award wanna-be...Usually its for the good if morons take themselves out of the gene pool...
  6. I'm busy wasting PVC trying to make a (removeable) rack to hold some kneeboards. Now, I have made some excellent rod holders that can be moved around the railings, some that attach to smooth gelcoat w/ suction cups, etc... and...ask Overcurrent, I AM the designer of the original 'Bubba Bimini' lol but I just cant figure out what I wanna do so far as a board rack... Hopefully, some of your pics will inspire me and give me some ideas...be it rod holders, gaff racks, whatever... So please, help me out here!
  7. http://www.keywestboatsinc.com/boats/show/id/3 If they ever did put wood in them, its been a long time ago...what year is this boat?
  8. OK...I know that they can be found off the NC coast, as I have seen the occasional odd individual, and once, several, when on a dive trip to the John B. Gill. I know that they taste good. And I know what I have read about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahi-mahi Are they at all common off our coast? Seasonal? How far out? Where do you look for them? Around ledges? What techniques do you use to catch em? According to this http://www.ncfisheries.net/recreational/recguide.htm there is a 10 a day limit, and no size? That is, if they mean Mahi when they say Dolphin... Any knowledge you care to pass on would be appreciated! Thanks!
  9. Rich, If it suits you, I could meet you somewhere in Raleigh one day. I work up there 3-4 days out of the week. And, if I get it from you, and it works for me, without breaking or falling off (which is what I have read it does on several other sites, like Cabela's) then we can work out an amount that its worth to us both?
  10. OK, I really can't mount trim tabs on my boat without re-working the swim platform. I dont like the idea of drilling into cast metal on the lower unit and bolting something on... I saw this, and spoke with the sales staff, and surprisingly, was told to steer clear, that they had about 1/2 of all they sold returned with cracks. (on the unit, not the lower end) I would like something to get me on plane quicker, and this seemed like a option. Maybe its the materials its composed of, and maybe people were pulling their fat old aunt out of the water on ski's. But for half of them to be returned (and I didnt get a time frame on how long between sale-install-return) well, 1/2 of them cracked/broken doesnt sound like its a good investment. Anyone know of any no-drill units other than this one? How about add-on hydrofoils in general? Any horror stories of them breaking the fins on the lower end? Any success stories? happy campers? Recommendations? https://www.savvyboater.com/p-261-stingray-...l-mounting.aspx
  11. Semi Fayetteville Back again... Yeah, 'Wildman' will be with me, as usual & always... Whens the next raft-up?
