  1. We were bottom fishing a couple of days ago and had two swim by. One guy had his rig ready to drop back down but threw it at the dolphin-one on; another guy flipped a bait we were letting sit behind the boat-#2 on. If they are hungry, and when aren't they, they hit about anything!!! They are so easy, almost feel bad about putting them in the boat; yeah, right!!!

  2. Get one of each!! That is what I did. I keep the EPIRB in the ditch bag and the PLB attached to my inflatable PFD. I like the idea of being able to use the PLB anywhere I go. How many times do you read of folks running of the road and not being found for days?? This solves that problem. I know, you all saying "it can't happen to me" but the folks it happened to probably would have said the same thing. Just my 2cents which is probaly worth nothing these days!!!

  3. Finally got out last Thursday but forgot to take coordinates of new bouy. Heck, turns out I didn't need them!! Was going out 180' from perdido pass and about ran over it. :D It's setting in 88 ft of water about 13 mi due south from the pass. I think it is in a great spot for our area. The one south of DI is ok if going to the rigs but this one gives a more accurate read for where most of us fish. Speaking of which, had a great day fishing about 20 mi S of the pass with an assortment of keepers and non keepers-mostly the endangered and elusive red snapper.

  4. I'm for the autothether if we can do it soon. There was an example last week of a guy falling off his boat near Panama city,FL. Bet he wishes he had had one. Boat was found near Ft morgan, AL according to one post. With the wind and waves recorded this past weekend, that must have been quite a ride for an empty boat!!!!
