  2. The sad thing is, it happens WAY to OFTEN!!!!
  3. Any recommendations for a nice halfway stopping point on the way back, anywhere from 8 to 9 hours north of Key West.?
  4. So, I am driving to the beach this past weekend and Josepheen attracted a couple ass monkeys. The first guy is driving an early 90's Fire Bird made by Government Motors. He pulls up beside me and revs the engine at highway speed. HE does this several times, obviously ignored his calling. The second challenge is from a kid driving a damn Doge Neon. We are on highway 24 between Swansboro and Cape Carteret. He is pulling up beside up whistling to get our attention. I once again ignore this. He backs off, cranks up the bottle and blows by us doing 80 or so in a 45. What a dumbass. I was hoping to get beside him at the light, I had already chosen the words....."Maybe you can get a real car when you grow up junior." It takes a LOT of discipline to drive Josepheen. She attracts a lot of attention, mostly good, but some bad. Check this out, got 27.7 cruising' at 62 mph and 22.8 at 78 mph. Shocked me.
  5. So here is what I am thinking. January is our 25th Anniversary. Lisa really likes St. Augustine and neither of us has ever been to the Keys. I am thinking road trip. Leave NC on a cool Sunday morning in January and head to St Augustine. Arrive in St Augustine in the afternoon, by this time the top will probably be down on Josepheen. Spend Sunday night, Monday and Monday night in St Augustine. Tuesday morning, head to Key West and stay at the Pier House (recommended by Wet-N-Wiley.) Wednesday, charter fishing for me and a spa day for her. Thursday, see above. Thursday night, Duval crawl. Friday sight seeing and such, riding with the top down. Friday night, see Thursday night. Saturday, drive to ????????? and spend the night. Sunday, finish the drive home.
  6. Shows her panties in this video. Miss Piggy is smokin'.

  10. I guess I am "old school" as I still prefer a jig saw. I tried using a spiral saw one time, it tended to jump around due to the difference in density of the fiberglass.
  11. ^^^^^ Always fill the filter with fuel first and be sure to squeeze the primer bulb while the engine is running, until it stays firm.
  12. Power on as close to bow stop as possible, then winch her on up.
  13. Trey, I hope ya'll are as happy as we are after almost 25 years. Good luck buddy!!
  14. Okay folks......IT IS TIME TO UNITE !!!! Please pass the word about the NCORFC website to everyone you know. We also need to get non-boating folks that have and are being effected by Ethanol involved, so if you know someone, please inform them of the NCORFC!! We are gearing up to publish our first Form Letter August 31. It will take time and lots of work folks, but we all know it is desperately needed. HOTSPOT

  17. Leaning towards an '03/'04 Expedition. Like the styling changes they made in '03 and the 3V 5.4. Looks like I can pick up a loaded 4x4 Eddie Bauer in the 10k~13K range. I'm in no hurry, just keeping my eyes open. Thanks for all the info gang.
