Widespread Panic

Recently replaced controls on my Mirage. Twin volvo's, twin station. I wanted single lever mechanical controls. Looked at RG Rollins but they wouldn't adapt to the volvos. Ended up going with Kobelt. Replaced cables with 33 extremes, had no idea how bad the old set up was until everything was replaced. Kobelt is a little pricey but when you put them next to teleflex controls you can see what the extra money is for.

I renewed my AB ticket and was asking the lady at the Coast Guard office in Miami about TWIC, she pointed me to a flyer on the wall. Also wouldn't accept my TWIC as a form of ID, this was last month. For anyone who has one and has some time to kill while traveling the friendly sky's, try to use it to clear security in the airport. See what the TSA agent does when you hand them a TSA ID, entertaining if you are early to the airport.

What happens if there isn't a compensation line between the helms? The steering isn't stiff, isn't "bumpy" or rough, seems to be OK. I have found that it is there to allow air to escape from the lower helm but, if it is not there what will happen? Thanks,
