Nah...At least not yet, and not for this. So I went by Bobs on Sunday and fessed up. Before he went to work on Monday and have the possibility that things could get out of hand. "Bad idea, bad execution, sorry about the whole thing" and he actually thought it was pretty funny. I left it entirely up to him if he wanted to play along, or let his Boss know I wussed out and pulled the plug on the whole thing and it was over. I've been really busy since and have yet to catch up with him, but as far as I can tell, it's just over. No harm, no foul. Lesson learned.

I work for a large manufacturing company with a great group of guys and we always try to have a little fun along the way. This includes yanking each others chain from time to time. All in fun and everybody has a good laugh. But I'm a little worried about this one because even though I instigated it, it's being escalated and is now out of my control. Here's the deal. We have many security policies regarding PC's. One of which is not to leave your PC "unlocked" when you're away from it. "Bob" left on Friday and didn't shut off his PC or lock it up via password. So, I sent him an E-Mail from HIS unsecured computer from the "Stealth Security Division" informing him of his violation of policy and that this was being escalated to HR, and his manager, and that any further infractions could result in termination. My intent was to be in the neighborhood when he got in so I could see the look on his face and inform him it was a joke and we'd have a laugh and that would be it. I told his manager what was up in the event I couldn't be there so that Bob wouldn't twist in the wind too long. The problem is that his manager has decided to up the ante by pulling him into his office before I reveal the gag and turning up the heat before breaking the news. I don't like letting my friends suffer tooooo long and take the chance that something may be said or done that can't be undone. So, do I: A. Let things run their course with Bobs manager and hope he has the sense to end it before things go too far? B. Make sure I get to Bob first and break the news on Monday AM as originally planned? C. Tell Bob this weekend whats up and plot a double-cross on his manager? What say Ye????

I've got a Great Aunt (My Grandfathers Sister) who's at least 105 by now. Still has all of her marbles and gets around OK. She'll probably outlive me.

FWIW I've never had any luck with any Lowrance (sic?) product. The Humminbird I have now has a transom mount and works fine.

I'm thinking who is NOT here may be more important.

I think that if it's functional and you're OK with the way it looks, it's perfect. My only concern would be feeding the line back through the hole when pulling the hook.

I think there was a loss of "community" when $$$$ became more important than the mission. Remember those commercials that said, "I'm not just the President of xxxx, I'm a client"?? You just can't develop any sense of comradarie with an 18 YO geek who wouldn't know a boat from a pizza oven.

Here's what really makes me wonder....and maybe it's just me. Woman next door loads up the toddler and newborn into the car and is on the freaking phone BEFORE she's even out of the GD driveway!!! WTF could she possibly have to say to anyone that is more important than the safety of those kids?? And if it is important, couldn't she have dealt with it BEFORE she got into the car??? She damn near hit me head on coming around a corner earlier this year. She knew it was me, and that she F'ed Up, but do you think it made any impression on her? NOOOOOOO. I'm beginning to believe that if someone cuts you off while they're on the phone, it should be legal, no, MANDANTORY, that you run them off of the road. Thinning out the herd, so to speak. OK, I feel better now. HANG UP AND DRIVE!!!!!!!!!

Where do you go for spark plugs? I'm looking for NGK PZFR5F-11 Double Platinum Spark Plug's for a 2000, 200HP Opti. The prices I've seen on line are about $12.50 each. Can anyone suggest anyplace with better pricing?

I'd ask first. If they say it's clear, ask to see the title. I believe that liens needs to be filed within the county where the owner resides. Can you do a title search on a boat like you do when purchasing a home??? I'd call a local Title Search Company to find out.
