Yes it is low now we have been moving it up and down trying to get the screen clear at speed. I have done several on vhulls with little to no problems. But this flat bottom skiff does not react like a vhull.

Have a Key West 177 skiff with HDS 8 and 200khz transducer. Reads excellent below about 5.5mph above that it still sees bottom but so much crap on screen that you cant read anything. Have raised and lowered it with no real change. It is currently about 10.5 inches to the right of prop shaft center. There are no thru hulls in front of it but does have a rib on the hull within an inch to the right. Was thinking about moving it to the right just at the edge of the trailer bunk in the photos, Will this help? Have put numerous transducers on vhulls but this is the first skiff. What are the opinions on getting this working better at speed?

The attachment is a page in the manual that shows where the surface clarity and ping speed is located. I attached it 2 times somehow but i think it will help you get your settings better.

There is a surface clarity turn that up to help with the top of the screen. Then manually turn up sensitivity to help with the bottom. Also see what your ping speed is set at. I run mine wide open. I would say for the surface clutter on top there is a setting i think it is surface clarity or something like that. Turn it up some should take care of most of that. Then you can go up with the sensitivity to help with the detail and seeing the bottom. And if that is the transducer the install job looks bad. Looks like they siliconed a transducer to the bottom and are shooting thru the hull. When installed right that cuts the sensitivity way down. I had that unit on my boat was a good unit i upgraded to a touch screen when it died a year or so ago.

Well after more research i found they have an XP 10 that does 600 amps peak sounds like that may be the way to go. On there site it claims to start diesel autos also. I was hoping you carried them.

Is anyone here using one of these? Look nice due to the size but dont want to buy something and find out it wont do what i need it to. Just wanting to know will it jump a Yamaha F250 with a dead battery? Im needing to replace my current jump box and am considering one of these due to size. Im looking at the XP 1

What model is the boat with twin 150s looks like about 26ft but i cant find it on there website. I assume maybe a new model the smallest i see on there site is 29ft. I am looking for something in the 25-26 size range wanting to power with 150's.

I have had about the same results with LED trailer lights. I used a set made by Dry Launch they use regular bulbs but have held up for the last 2 seasons and are almost through the 3rd season only had to replace 1 bulb. I still have the LED side marker lights as they have held up well just using the Dry Launch on the tail lights.

I have my first trip planned for next weekend. May be a bit early but i cant catch them from home. Also have plans for a few more trips.

Ok i have a set of Taco 250 adjustable mount on my 24' Sea Hunt. I know based on reading that i want a set of fixed poles. Which ones will fit these mounts? I read about someone switching from the Taco poles to Lees but i cant find which model poles they used to fit the Taco mounts. Also for this size boat what length poles 15 or 18? Thanks for any advice. Next step will be trying to figure out how to rig them when i get them here. Thanks

Im installing one for a friend with a Furuno 585. The transdcer is big it weighs about 10lbs. Should finish bolting it on tomorrow have a few other things to do for him maybe get it on the water by the end of the week to see how she works. Ill try to post a few pictures of it tomorrow;.

40" wide by 18" deep with the back rest in the straight up position it is 35" tall. Like Hotspot said it is a great improvement over the others because the backrest locks in different positions and stays put. If you need more info let me know. Thanks

94qt Igloo cooler with seat cushion and flip flop back rest. Used but in good condition has a stain on the seat cushion. $175

Which mounts do you have for them? I was also concerned about the black knob on the grand slam 270s will it stay where you set it or does it come loose? Thanks for any info

Looking to add outriggers to my 24 Sea Hunt it has the plates in the t-top for them to mount to. I think they are the Taco plates but from my research so far i think the Lees, Rupp or Taco mounts will fit the hole pattern. Which brand are you using and thoughts on them. I would assume i will get the 15' poles. I have heard of problems with flex in the telescopic poles so opinions on this also. Thanks

If you let Ralph use it unsupervised i would suggest changing the water after each use.
