No fee and they aren't allowed to accept gratuities of any kind. I always get the VSC though around here the examiners often don't get the decals until mid-July or August whichs seriously counterproductive to the program they promote. The VSC decal seasonally does save me a lot of unnecessary training boardings by the local USCG station crews, though the only thing I mind about that is those dam combat "boat shoes."

[Any body here ever do a "HDR" in PhotoShop?]

so does photomatix add that watermark on every shot, or is that so we can see it, or is it because trial software or ??

It's the trial version that leaves the watermarks.

i too have photomatix on my mac but it's a standalone application and not a PS plug-in

like some have said...for HDR to really do wonders you need pictures with a decent color range between shadows and highlights...

and it does take some playing around and at times a lotta luck to to really nail it

I found that over and underexposing a high quality RAW image file in photoshop (2 brightness levels down, 2 up, and the original) works great for HDR photos as well as bracketed shots.

I'm running 64bit vista and love it! 750gb HD with 8GB of RAM on my work machine. Run vista home premium 32 bit at home, no problems there either.

I'm one of those people that don't understand all the bickering about how vista sucks. I'd take vista anyday over xp.
