I found that over and underexposing a high quality RAW image file in photoshop (2 brightness levels down, 2 up, and the original) works great for HDR photos as well as bracketed shots. Here is my first HDR photos taken from a single high quality jpeg (not RAW) Before After -
I'm running 64bit vista and love it! 750gb HD with 8GB of RAM on my work machine. Run vista home premium 32 bit at home, no problems there either. I'm one of those people that don't understand all the bickering about how vista sucks. I'd take vista anyday over xp.
