SOLD SOLD SOLD. For sale is a 1996 Contender 25 powered by a 2000 Yamaha Salt Water Series OX66 250HP outboard. The boat is sitting on a Continental dual axle trailer included with the sale. This hull is arguably the best riding 25' hull ever built. This is the last year that Contender built this hull with a closed transom and bracket. This is the same hull that is now built by Competition boats and sells for over $70k. The boat features a 185 gallon single fuel tank, a 25 gallon fresh water wash down, bennett trim tabs, T-Top, leaning post, tons of rod holders, coaming bolsters all the way around, live well, fish boxes and plenty of storage space. Electronics include a Furuno 1650wf combo GPS/Fish Finder, Lowrance depth gauge, Clarion CD player with I-pod input and Alpine speakers. This Contender 25 is in great condition and has been meticulously cared for. The outboard has been regularly maintained and is turn key. The OX66 250 has a reputation for being an extremely reliable outboard. The outboard currently has 763 hours. Top speed is about 45 mph and cruise speed is about 30 mph on the factory Yamaha stainless propeller. A second factory stainless propeller is included as a spare. Also included is a Fortress anchor with 300' of rope, all safety gear including 12 life jackets and a Penn manual down rigger.
