  1. I ordered from ScarabChris. I am assuming hull lights, you mean in the transom? If so,for fishing, green would be the best bet. My avatar shows the blue under the gunnels, but below is a larger pic as well as the ttop lights.
  2. Wow, what a set of pictures. Doesnt look that bad but I know the camera doesnt show actual conditions. If he bought it, I would think towboat coverage had not kicked in?? I cant imagine what the bill will be for the tow. Is this consider salvaging??? I dont know, so just asking.
  3. Good job FN. Always good to know there are great people around in case trouble brews. Hats off to ya...... Life savings just 5 hours earlier??? I cant imagine that feeling. I saw a report, on another website, from the other boat loading some of the people. Not alot of details in his post.
  4. Tom, this Jim aka Riptide from the other site. We spoke on phone earlier this year when I was trying to get up to go after those stripers. I've gotten big into the trolling thing for Spanish, soon to be caught first kings, mahi's (have done decent on these so far) etc. I am using 5 - TLD 15's on 7 foot rods. I do have 3 - Penn 4/0 reels on 5 ft barefoot rods and I am thinking of throwing one or two of those out to trade for something. These things are practically brand new as I have only used them a couple of times and that was catching sharks last year. This year they have not been on the boat. One thing I am looking for is another UniTroll 5 downrigger in real good shape.............. FN, let me know what you want for the speakers..........
  5. Sounds good to me. Wouldnt have it any other way. Tom first in line and no problem at all. Will keep an eye on the post. Catch,em up and be safe out there.......................
  6. Has Tom done anything on the radio yet? Definately interested in the speakers though. Shoot me a pm with some info about them and radio if Tom doesnt take it. Not sure what I have to trade but could trade some green from my hand to yours? About an hour west of ya but will be around Cary this weekend.
  7. Sorry, I must of been completely out of it. Did not see the locations earlier. Sorry cant help for those areas.
  8. Did not meet requirements. That would be an awful feeling.................
  9. Check out the two gals sitting on the dock, shown on the live video feed.
  10. "No Problem" boated a Blue Marlin and is due at the scales around 2:00. They have the live feed going. http://www.ebmcdn.net/bigrock/flash/livepl.../bigrocktv.html
  11. Which inlet or area? Out of Hatteras, I have no clue. Out of Beaufort Inetl, I caught one Mahi about 12 miles out and a couple more another 6 - 8 miles out. Out of Cape Fear River, I hear reports of around the Horseshoe A Sailfish caught out near the Steeples yesterday.
  12. Sounds like a plan. Great job on a great site. Keep up the good work.............
  13. Listening to the audio feed all day. White marline bite has been on fire. One boat has already released 4. Lots of Blue's pulled the hook. Watching the live video feed when boats coming in is awesome..........
  14. Huge pods of pogies coming thru inlet at high tide. Clear the inlet, more huge pods of pogies just off the beach. 2 throws with net, 30 gallon livewell was full. R8 buoy, 81/2 miles out, holding good size amberjack. Live pogies on a king rig is the ticket. Awesome top water hits. 4 or 5 will be boiling the water after it. NW Places is another 6 miles out from R8. Caught one mahi there last week. From there, another 4 - 5 miles to the little 10/big 10 area (1 more mahi in boat, lost 2 at boat) was producing and then to the 14 buoy. Lots of area you can fish without having to make some of the longer runs. I wish I had stayed at a few of the mentioned places longer and I think I could of done better. Cobia are hot inside the inlet, along the beach and up at bardens inlet @ cape lookout. Saw one nice cobia caught in the turning basin, at the entrance to Morehead Waterfront. They were in a 14 foot boston whaler. Be sure to post a report with pictures.......
  15. I had compliments on my blue lights this past weekend. Bad part, it did not draw the ladies to my boat. I need a bigger boat
  16. Sweet boat!!!!!!! Like to have a dollar for every fish caught out of it........
  17. Rich, I am heading down Tuesday night and will be dropping my boat in there on Wednesday morning and I will drop the word that you may be down on Friday. Jim @ Anchorage Marina knows about MAD and what its all about. Give him a call and I would think he would work something out. I have to call him today anyway and will go ahead and mention it. Jim
  18. Arriving to Atlantic Beach Tuesday evening and fishing the rest of the week. If I can get out, I will be around NW Places and a few other spots or if I have to stay inside, I will be up around the hook. Looking forward to meeting up with HotSpot and a few others and then taking some heros out for MAD 4 on May 30. If ya out and about, give CableMaker a shout on the radio. Will be scanning 16, 69......
  19. Thanks Kilowat. I may just slip on some of trebles I use for my king rigs and see how those look. I see ya in Statesville. I used to live over in Taylorsville, Hiddenite actually, but that was long long time ago.
  20. I just picked up two Stretch 25's tonight. Treble hooks are huge. What size treble's would be better??? Maybe I missed in a back post??
  21. check out: http://www.anchoragemarina.net Great people there and easy in/out. Should have room to keep trailer there if you wet slip. Talk to Jim. They are on Atlantic Beach side.
  22. I have gotten lots of compliments on all my lights. People ask and I give Chris's info to them. Gotta agree on the trailer lights. I just had to replace mine and they are not even a year old yet. That could be a gold mine.........
  23. Sounds Like A Plan!!!!!!!!!! Great Job Wiley..........
