  1. Pulled our Edgewater 245cc to Florida and back a couple weeks ago with my Ram 2500, 4wd, Cummins diesel. No problems at all, pack your trailer wheel bearings and check/replace the grease seals before you go. Before the return pump new grease into the bearings and check for contamination. Continue pumping new grease in until the grease looks good. Check the trailer hubs at every stop, as others say - they should be barely warm to the touch. Carry a spare tire. Oh, and check the lights and wiring from the truck to trailer. I spent 3 hours getting the running lights working in an Atlanta parking lot.....
  2. That's a nice ride I had a couple Mustangs, 65 289 HiPo 4sp, 67 Coupe, 87 GT convertible. Great cars! Turned to the dark side though, got what I've always wanted
  3. In beam? I've been looking at a couple boats and found some that have a 8' 9" beam. Questions are: There are some regulations in the towing laws that take effect at that width. Will the law notice the extra 3"? Is there a noticable difference in the size of the boat with the extra width? If not, why do the manufacturers do it?
  4. I would check for a cracked line or leak on the fuel line. Sounds like it might be sucking air into the line somewhere between the tank and fuel pump. Good luck!
  5. I'm just curious as to the type of trailer the old one is. Galvanized? How old and brand if you don't mind sharing.
  6. What tranny / rear end do you have? I get a consistant 18 - 19 in my 04 RAM, automatic 3.73 rear end 4x4. Maybe you have 2 wd?
  7. Hello all, Bud here, from Kentucky. I registered a while ago and am just now getting around to introducing myself. I've been boating for about 30 years off and on, power boats 18 - 27' and sailboats 19 - 33', mostly inland. The wife and I love boating off the west coast of Florida and are currently looking for a trailerable WA that we can use around here and take to the coast for a couple weeks at a time. Looking forward to learning from all of you, especially about saltwater boat fishing. Bud
  8. Any interior pics? Does this boat have the seat at the transom?
