  1. The ball is in your court so use it to your advantage. Good luck!
  2. Nice shot, the blackfin looks like a lil' guy but he went about 25 lbs. Thanks for coming out in the rain..
  3. Have the fish box open and ready for immediate deployment of the fish in there, close box and lock it or stand on it while the fish does its thing. Don't worry about the hook 'till it's done. -Always keep one fish in the water Dolphin are retarded, they eat anything. Last 25 lb. cow I caught had a 4 inch by 1.5 inch piece of plastic in its stomach that was a neon green color. Probably thought it was a juvenile dolphin. I catch them on live bait off the kite, flatlines, anything, you have it, they will eat just about anything. Key is to find clean blue water and if you find that, and you find structure in the right time of the year, you've probably found dolphin. Usually when I find something like a weedline or a piece of debris, I will troll it for a little bit and if no luck, I will sit there for a half hour or so and chum and chunk it. You'd be surprised how quick the dolphin further down the weedline show up when they hone in on bait. These fish constantly eat and are very good at it so they have to have the instinct to find things to eat constantly. Current edges are also key for success, but when all else fails, blind troll the 'noisiest' spread you have - Boone birds, bubblers, etc. If you have a spread that makes a big presentation, it helps raise single fish that are cruising and looking for food.
  4. LOL, glad you liked it, anytime man. For some reason, this has been some of the tastiest dolphin I've had in a while. Maybe because I haven't had any in a while.
  5. I have a Sunstream floating lift but it works completely different than yours. It does collect barnacles and I need to call a diver out to scrape 'em all off, but it works really well and is really stable. I have a neighbor with the one that fills up with water and he has problems all the time. Permitting wouldn't allow us a lift because of width into the canal and our floating lift is even wider, but legal. Idiots that run the City of Fort Lauderdale. The floating lift costs 2x as much but is faster and actually solar powered not that I really care. It picks up a 13,000 lb. boat and it is just about maxed out.
  6. I was at Invincible today and they had all three go into guardian mode at one point. The pictures are insane. A good friend of mine was driving the Invincible. Congrats to the Fountain, I knew the 38 with quads is the Invincible's arch nemesis. Nobody has had the balls yet to stick 4 motors on the Invincible....it would be awesome to see the results.
  7. Word is Homesite blew by the Invincible, and the Invincible blew by the rest of the pack including a quad Deep Impact. We don't mind losing to a quad 350 38 Fountain!
  8. Great story, great lesson. Don't be scaring me with that marriage/family thing.
  9. LOL, it has to be something! At least I can bring the RB community many pictures of my outings!
  10. Honestly, the girls seem to not even know the difference between a small single engine CC and a triple engine go-fast CC...they're on the water, brews flowing, sun's a shining, and all is well. Fast is fun when run responsibly.
  11. I had a 32 Outrage that was probably the worst riding boat I've been on. I wouldn't expect the 305 to be a performer. If you must, make sure it has as much HP as you can throw on the back because it needs it.
  12. Contact my personal mechanic and certified Mercury technician. 13. I just bought a 36 Sea Fox with quad 400 Yamaha Verados. The dealer brought it to my dock, but where is the gas pedal?
  14. Sweet! Thanks for the video, Wiley. Wish the inlet was longer so I could really let her stretch her legs.
  15. Looking forward to the new forum. Best of luck, Wiley.
