which 150

all things considered, weight, price, & durability which 150 would you buy?

Right now a Suzuki. low weight for a four stroke and the feed back has been very positive on Suzuki. Could be because enough are not out there. It is the lightest least expensive 4 stroke.

I own a Honda, but I prefer the Suzuki. The Honda is very reliable and quiet. The Suzuki has about the same speed WOT. The difference is the Suzuki has noticeably more power in the upper 3000 RPM range. The Yamaha is also very nice, but it also seems to have a little bit less power than the Suzuki. All of the 150's are awesome motors and you can't go wrong with any of them. Pick the one that is the least expensive with the best service and use T9 on it several times a year.

thanks fellas, I got a quote today on e tec out the door on the boat 12k + uncle sugars part, I never bought new power but damn that sounds expensive

That is expensive I would prefer Yamaha personally, but did get a quote from a Suzuki dealer on a left over 20" Suzuki 150 for $8500 a couple of months ago. Don't remember if that quote included anything but the motor.

I had the choice between suzuki and honda. I chose the Honda for the warranty (5 year, from Honda, non-declining). The suzuki came with a 6 year (3 from Suzuki, 3 aftermarket). Honda also had great financing terms (6.99%). Weight between the honda and suzuki was minimal. The Suzuki weighs in at 474 for the L and 485 for the X. Honda is at 478 for the L and 485 for the X.

Suzuki would be my choice. They are running a 3+3 Special on warranties. You get 6 years for no extra cost. Worth every penny. Very strong motor.

I have a Suzuki 150 and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. It's quiet, light, and it's got a ton of power for a 150.

They are all good. just find the best dealer and the engine that suits your needs best but you cannot go wrong with any of the current 150's

I am all about the yamaha at the moment. but really it would come down to price and warrenty for me.
