  3. Fresh water toothy creature caught 4/24/10. 42" and good enough for 3rd in the tourney on Clearfork Lake Lexington Ohio.
  4. Enjoy it and reel boating. I am starting season 4 on my Angler so far so good. Brian
  5. Lots of stuff to check but start simple since you say it idles and revs out of the water (no load) but wont plane (with load). First check to make sure the hull isnt full of water run it across some scales. Next check cam timing and ignition timing both can cause a lack of power under load. Go over the basics one more time plug wires on in the correct order throttle cable adjusted right correct fuel pressure. Another simply thing to do is use an external fuel tank to make sure you dont have clogged lines or pick up. That motor will get that boat on plane if everything is correct. Good luck and when you find it let us know. Brian
  6. Proof that giant aliens have been using the ocean to bathe in
  7. Back in may we were coming back in around noon from fishing and usually that early in the season there is no problems. I drop my partner off and the ramp lot is packed with cars without trailers. It takes him awhile to get the truck and trailer out since its almost parked in we load the boat and drive up to the tie down area and its full of cars too. I pull over and block the entrance to the tie down area since that is the last place to pull over or turn around until you get to a major road. A park ranger comes down and starts bitching I am blocking a parking lot and I try to explain I wont be long but I have to tie the boat down before I get to the road. He tells me do that at the top of the ramp like everyone else. I lose my cool point to the sign that says no parking boat tie down area and huffs off and leaves. The park was hosting a large Puppy Palooza and ran out of parking. They didnt inform the marine officers and the regular park officers just took the lot.
  8. Jason I bolted a couple Down East Salty Series D17s to an aluminum plate that is welded to an aluminum tube that fits in the rod holder. I run one on each side of the boat so I can troll 4 rods. I troll mostly for Muskie and Walleye so I needed the rods parallel to the water. The Down East Rod holders also work very well for drifting and at anchor. I also added a post onto the plate to use the rail mont from my grill . Brian
  9. Our little toy and sure eats less than the racecars did.
